Community & Connection
The North Georgia Tree Dog Association will host events throughout the year designed for hunters of every experience level. Members can enjoy licensed competition events through registrys such as WTDA, NSD, NKC, UKC, non sanctioned club hunts with a point series, youth events, training days, conservation projects, and family-friendly gatherings that build lasting friendships and a strong hunting community.
Competition Hunts
The North Georgia Tree Dog Association will host open and registry-sanctioned squirrel and coon hunts throughout the year. These events are designed for hunters of all experience levels and are open for everyone to attend, whether you’re a seasoned competitor or just getting started with your first tree dog. Check the event calendar for select registries and dates.
Squirrel Hunts
We host squirrel hunts with multiple registries. Including points hunts, money hunts, and trophy hunts, as well as non-sanctioned members only club hunts formatted in a points series with prize and club titles awarded at the end of the year.
Coon Hunts
Our nite hunts offer a chance to showcase your hounds. Hunts will include both non and registry-sanctioned events so that everyone has a place to participate. A members only points series will be held for the nite hunt season also.
Fun & Family-Friendly Atmosphere
Whether you’re chasing titles or just enjoy hearing a good dog work, our competition hunts are built around sportsmanship, fellowship, and respect for the dogs and the game. Spectators, families, and new hunters are always welcome at NGTDA events.
